Energy Manager

Role Description The Energy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Manila, responsible for overseeing and optimizing energy use across Puregold's retail locations and facilities. This role involves monitoring energy consumption, analyzing usage patterns, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining operational reliability and customer comfort. The Energy Manager will develop and implement energy management strategies, coordinate energy efficiency projects, and work closely with store operations, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure alignment with company standards. Daily tasks include reviewing utility data, preparing reports and recommendations, managing relationships with energy suppliers and service providers, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. The role also supports budgeting and forecasting for energy-related expenses and promotes best practices in sustainability and resource efficiency within the organization.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including data analysis, interpretation of energy usage trends, and preparation of clear, actionable reports.
• Candidates should possess Energy Management expertise, with practical experience in Energy efficiency initiatives, utility monitoring, and optimization of building and equipment performance.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, implement, and track energy-related projects across multiple sites, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
• Candidates should possess Procurement-related skills, including evaluating energy suppliers, negotiating contracts, and coordinating purchasing for energy-efficient equipment and services.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in engineering, energy management, facilities management, or a related field are preferred.
• Knowledge of local energy regulations, building systems (HVAC, lighting, refrigeration), and sustainability practices is beneficial.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple store locations.
• Previous experience in retail, facilities, or industrial energy management is an advantage.
