Energy Management Manager

The Energy Management Manager oversees the organization's energy performance, compliance, and governance, ensuring adherence to energy efficiency regulations while optimizing energy consumption and costs across all facilities. The role manages reporting and audit requirements, develops energy strategies and action plans, analyzes consumption and performance data, and leads efficiency and conservation initiatives. It prepares budgets and business cases for energy investments, tracks savings and ROI, and integrates energy considerations into projects and operational decisions. The Energy Manager collaborates with engineering, facilities, operations, finance, and regulatory stakeholders, establishes standards and controls, and promotes capability-building and awareness to support long-term operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Industrial, or related engineering fields, with a PRC license and Certified Energy Manager credential preferred or obtainable within a defined period. At least 7–10 years experience in energy management, facilities/plant engineering, or utilities/power systems is required, along with knowledge of ISO 50001, energy regulations, and energy monitoring systems. Strong analytical, financial evaluation, project coordination, and communication skills are essential, supported by a compliance-driven mindset, accountability, and continuous improvement orientation.
