Job Description

Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours

Employment type: Permanent

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Pay range: Php 56,000 to Php 77,000

We are looking for an End User Services Engineer (Citrix DaaS) to join our Manila End User Services team. This role supports end user computing services and provides specialist ownership of Citrix Desktop as a Service (DaaS), including virtual desktop and application delivery platforms used by colleagues across office-based, hybrid, and remote working environments.

What will you do as anEnd User Services Engineer (Citrix DaaS)

Reporting to the Asia End User Computing Manager, your accountabilities will include:

  • Own and manage Citrix Desktop as a Service (DaaS), including operational support, monitoring, optimisation, and lifecycle management
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for complex Citrix DaaS incidents, acting as an escalation point for virtual desktop issues
  • Design, configure, and maintain Citrix DaaS environments, including image management, delivery groups, and access policies
  • Ensure Citrix DaaS services are secure, resilient, well-documented, and aligned with best practice and organisational standards
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and identity teams to deliver high-performing and compliant virtual desktop services

An ideal candidate has the following qualities:

Essential:

  • Demonstrates proficiency in Citrix Desktop as a Service (DaaS), including administration, troubleshooting, and optimisation in enterprise environments
  • Exhibits strong understanding of VDI/DaaS, Windows OS, endpoint management (e.g., Intune/SCCM), and incident management practices
  • Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot complex performance, connectivity, and user experience issues across diverse environments
  • Exhibits effective communication skills, clearly explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrates collaborative teamwork across distributed and cross-functional teams

Desirable:

  • Shows familiarity with cloud-hosted Citrix deployments (e.g., AWS WorkSpaces Core and managed instances)
  • Displays knowledge of Intune and identity integrations (e.g., Okta, FAS SSO) in cloud VDI environments
  • Shows ability to contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within End User Services
