The Employee Relations Associate supports the Employee Relations Manager in executing disciplinary action processes, facilitating conflict resolution, and fostering a culture of accountability and recognition. The role also provides strategic support in coaching, counseling, and employee engagement through cultural and spiritual activities. S/he serves as a key partner to department heads and supervisors in upholding a respectful, values-aligned work environment.
Disciplinary Action Management
- Leads and ensures timely processing of all Hear You Out (HYO) reports and audit findings requiring disciplinary action.
- Conducts formal investigations and interviews in coordination with relevant departments to establish facts objectively.
- Drafts and issues disciplinary decision documents with supporting evidence and communicate results to concerned parties.
- Maintains an organized and confidential system for documenting disciplinary cases, sanctions, and resolutions.
- Ensures consistent application of company policies and due process across all departments.
Conflict Resolution and Mediation
- Serves as the primary facilitator for mediation between departments or individuals in conflict.
- Designs and executes intervention strategies to address unresolved or prolonged internal disputes.
- Recommends and supports proactive approaches to prevent conflict escalation.
Commendation and Reward Systems Implementation
- Designs, implements, and refines the commendation and employee reward system in partnership with department heads.
- Reviews and validates commendation nominations; oversee there cognition and publication process.
- Maintains documentation of awards and recognition for performance reporting and morale-building efforts.
Coaching and Counseling Oversight
- Guides the department heads and supervisors in conducting performance and behavior-related coaching sessions.
- Delivers training sessions or workshops on effective coaching and constructive feedback.
- Reviews LTA forms to ensure meaningful self-reflection and growth plans are captured.
Cultural and Spiritual Engagement
- Collaborates with the Cultural and Spiritual Affairs team to design and facilitate employee engagement activities.
- Promotes participation in values-based and well-being-centered programs as part of workplace culture initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Psychology, Human Resources Management or any other related course.
- At least 2 to 3 years work experience as in Employee Relations, or similar role in retail or food and beverage industry (HR operations, or labor compliance).
- Preferably from an organization with 3,000 employees and above.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and due process in disciplinary actions
- Skilled in conflict resolution, investigation techniques, and case documentation
- High level of discretion and emotional intelligence
- Applicants must be willing to work onsite in our Head Office in Paranaque.
