Job Title: Employee Relations and Engagement Assistant

Reports To: HR Warehouse Assistant Manager
Work Location: MR DIY Philippines Warehouse located in Dasmarinas Cavite but will frequently visit another warehouse in Carmona Cavite.
Role Description
The Employee Relations and Engagement Assistant will be responsible for executing day to day employee relations and engagement processes, ensures proper implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor and employment law, and overseeing performance management. The ER & E Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources department and ensuring a positive work environment for employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and counseling services to employees regarding workplace issues, policies, and procedures. This may involve addressing employee concerns and facilitating communication between staff and management.
- Assist in handling basic employee concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Documenting employee incidents, Investigate incidents, help resolve employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts and provide proper disciplinary actions with the guidance of the HR Warehouse Assistant Manager.
- Coordinate grievance procedures and conflict resolution activities to both employees and their Immediate Superior.
- Monitor and update records of attendance, absences, and violations relevant to employee discipline cases. This also includes files related to engagement activities.
- Assist in preparing reports on disciplinary actions, engagement metrics, and related HR indicators.
- Keep an organized schedule of activities, deadlines, and required logistics.
- Works collaboratively with HR professionals to develop strategies that enhance employee morale and engagement.
- Coordinate with Warehouse Management, and other departments to ensure alignment in handling employee issues.
- Serve as a point of contact between warehouse employees and HR on engagement and welfare concerns.
- Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees, ensuring they understand their rights and responsibilities within the workplace.
- Collect and analyze employee data to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee relations and workplace culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 1 year experience in Employee Relations and Employee Engagement
- Experience working in a Warehouse Management is required
- Experience in implementing HR policies and Labor Law
- Proactive, empathetic, and discreet in handling sensitive information
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Preferably from Retail, FMCG, or F&B industry
- Amenable to report 100% work on site (Dasmarinas and Carmona)
