Your Role

As a Klaviyo Email Marketing Specialist, you will:

• Build and manage Klaviyo flows and campaigns for multiple Shopify brands, including flow architecture, logic, segmentation, suppression, sunset rules, and consent handling.
• Plan and manage email campaign calendars, including major promotional and sale periods.
• Design and build mobile-first, accessible, and dark-mode-safe emails using reusable modules while following brand guidelines.
• Develop and optimize audience segments, dynamic content, conditional splits, flow filters, catalogue blocks, and custom properties.
• Conduct A/B tests, holdout tests, and incrementality testing to measure campaign and flow effectiveness.
• Monitor performance metrics and maintain monthly scorecards, identifying performance changes and recommending improvements.
• Manage email deliverability, including sender authentication, branded sending domains, list hygiene, complaint management, and one-click unsubscribe requirements.
• Manage Shopify–Klaviyo integrations, including store synchronization, product catalogue feeds, custom properties, review platforms, and SMS integrations.
• Build reusable templates, modules, and campaign structures to improve efficiency and increase output across multiple brands.
• Ensure links, codes, audiences, regions, and campaign settings are accurate before every send.
• Communicate issues proactively, recommend solutions, and take ownership of campaign performance and results.
• Adapt email copy and campaigns for Australian, UK, and US audiences.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 3+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience, building both flows and campaigns for Shopify brands.
• Strong knowledge of conditional splits, flow filters, dynamic content, catalogue blocks, custom properties, segmentation, and flow logic.
• Strong email design skills using Canva and hands-on email building in Klaviyo.
• Experience managing multiple Shopify stores or brands simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain campaign/flow performance and recommend improvements.
• Excellent written English with the ability to adapt content for Australian, UK, and US audiences.
• Experience with HTML and CSS for email.
• Experience with Klaviyo SMS/text messaging.
• Experience with holdout or incrementality testing.
• Experience working with brands serving customers in Australia, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Klaviyo certification.
• Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 flows with before-and-after results and 10 campaign emails.
• Experience with email deliverability, sender authentication, branded sending domains, list hygiene, and compliance requirements.
• Experience integrating Klaviyo with Shopify, product catalogues, review platforms, and other marketing tools.
• Proficiency with Shopify, Canva, and Notion.
• Strong understanding of email accessibility and dark-mode optimization.
• Ability to manage high-volume campaign production while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong ownership, proactive communication, and continuous improvement mindset.
  
  

Success in This Role

You will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy across every campaign, move briefs to scheduled campaigns efficiently, explain performance through data, proactively identify and resolve gaps, and build scalable templates and processes that increase output without compromising quality.
