The Email Marketing Specialist will lead the strategy, creation, and execution of email campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and sales across a global customer base. You'll work closely with Brand, eCommerce, and Product teams to craft high-impact email content that reflects our premium positioning and innovative product line, while leveraging data to continuously optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, write, and execute email campaigns for product launches, promotions, onboarding, and lifecycle journeys
- Manage audience segmentation and personalization to improve engagement and conversion rates
- Collaborate with design and content teams to develop visually compelling, on-brand email creatives
- Monitor KPIs such as open rates, click-through, conversions, and revenue impact; adjust strategy based on insights
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, CTAs, send times, and layouts
- Ensure email compliance with privacy and deliverability standards (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
- Manage the email platform (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) and maintain clean lists
Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience in email marketing, preferably in DTC or premium/lifestyle brands
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail and tone
- Familiarity with CRM/email platforms, analytics tools, and A/B testing
- Understanding of customer segmentation, retention strategies, and conversion funnels
- Experience in or passion for outdoor lifestyle, technology, or water-based products a plus
