Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and coverage for Senior/Elder Care services.
Contact insurance providers and use online portals to confirm eligibility and benefits.
Collect, review, and maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.
Educate patients on insurance coverage, preventive care services, and estimated out-of-pocket costs.
Answer patient inquiries and provide guidance on insurance benefits and care options.
Coordinate with physicians, care coordinators, and nursing home staff to support patient enrollment and timely care.
Identify patients due for preventive care and assist with appointment scheduling.
Maintain accurate records in EHR/EMR and insurance verification systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Generate reports on eligibility verification, patient enrollment, and insurance coverage trends.
Follow company and client policies, procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Medical, but not required)
Consultancy basis minimum of 6 months consultancy contract (subject for renewal)
At least 1–2 years of experience in healthcare insurance verification, eligibility and benefits verification, patient registration, or a related healthcare support role.
Must have excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
Strong communication skills and customer centric
Willing to work in shifting schedules, mostly night shift
Able to work from home, must have a reliable internet connection
