Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BS ECE), Electrical Engineering (BS EE), or a related engineering discipline.

Professional License: Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial electronics, electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, or heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of experience supporting PVD (Prefabricated Vertical Drain), piling, ground improvement, or similar construction equipment, focusing on electronic monitoring and control systems.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting PLC systems, sensors, encoders, control panels, relays, wiring, instrumentation, and machine control systems.
  • Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance, electronic diagnostics, calibration, electrical safety procedures, maintenance documentation, and inter-departmental coordination with mechanical and operations teams.

Location Requirement: Must be willing to work full-time on-site at Taliptip, Bulakan Bulacan

Job Summary:

The Electronics/Electrical Engineer oversees the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electronic monitoring, automation, and control systems for heavy construction equipment (including PVD and piling machinery). This role ensures continuous operational reliability, precise instrumentation calibration, and adherence to safety and preventive maintenance protocols in collaboration with mechanical and operations teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform field troubleshooting, diagnostic checks, and repair of PLC systems, sensors, encoders, relays, wiring, and machine control panels on heavy construction equipment.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to identify hardware/software faults and execute quick system restoration.
  • Execute routine preventive maintenance programs and calibration procedures for electronic monitoring devices and instrumentation systems.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace electrical safety standards, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and industry safety regulations.
  • Maintain complete and precise maintenance logs, technical documentation, calibration reports, and electronic diagnostic histories.
  • Coordinate regularly with mechanical crews and project operations teams to minimize equipment downtime and align maintenance schedules with operational needs.
