Electro-Mechanical Senior Engineer (Airports)

About The Role

As a Electro-Mechanical Senior Engineer, you'll play a key part in implementing and supporting electro-mechanical systems for airport environments. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.

This position offers opportunities to collaborate, share expertise, and contribute to innovative projects while maintaining flexibility where possible.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support hardware implementation activities, including design, construction, testing, and operation of customer equipment.
  • Work collaboratively to meet agreed standards for quality, safety, and performance during on-site implementation processes.
  • Prepare plans, drawings, and specifications aligned with customer needs and contractual obligations.
  • Integrate electronic and mechanical components during installation of customer electro-mechanical systems.
  • Share expertise and collaborate with team members to support learning and growth while contributing to decision-making and identifying dependencies and outcomes.

About The Ideal Candidate

  • Technical and functional knowledge in electro-mechanical systems, especially airport customer self-service solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in hardware engineering and electro-mechanical solutions.
  • Experience with baggage systems engineering is helpful.
  • Familiarity with Common Use Self Service (CUSS) and Passenger Processing Systems (PPS)
  • Previous airport border, baggage or biometrics solutions product knowledge or experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively on diverse projects.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to both international and domestic locations
  • Relevant degree in Engineering or Mechanical or Mechatronics or a related stream (or equivalent practical experience).
