Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and equipment across properties.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, power outages, and equipment failures.
  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and service requests.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, electrical standards, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other property service staff (plumbers, carpenters, HVAC technicians) on cross-functional maintenance projects.
  • Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation of work performed.
  • Assist in planning, designing, and executing electrical upgrades, renovations, or new installations.
  • Monitor and maintain an inventory of electrical tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to tenants, property occupants, and stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Technical/Vocational Certificate in Electrical Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 23 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in property services, facilities management, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, breakers, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and handle electrical equipment safely.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
