Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and equipment across properties.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, power outages, and equipment failures.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and service requests.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, electrical standards, and workplace safety regulations.
Collaborate with other property service staff (plumbers, carpenters, HVAC technicians) on cross-functional maintenance projects.
Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation of work performed.
Assist in planning, designing, and executing electrical upgrades, renovations, or new installations.
Monitor and maintain an inventory of electrical tools, equipment, and supplies.
Provide courteous and professional service to tenants, property occupants, and stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; Technical/Vocational Certificate in Electrical Technology or related field.
Minimum 23 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in property services, facilities management, or construction.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, breakers, and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and handle electrical equipment safely.
Good teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
