Role Description The Electrical Technician Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in Marikina. The trainee will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on construction projects under the supervision of senior electricians and engineers. Daily tasks include supporting routine inspections, helping to identify faults and basic troubleshooting issues, and learning to read and follow electrical drawings, plans, and safety procedures. The role involves preparing tools and materials, keeping work areas organized, and following company safety standards and regulatory guidelines at all times. The trainee will also participate in on-the-job training sessions to build technical skills and knowledge of construction-site practices.
Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of electricity and basic electrical principles, either through vocational training, coursework, or related experience.
  • Skills or aptitude in electrical maintenance and safe handling of electrical equipment, with a willingness to learn company-specific procedures.
  • Ability to assist with troubleshooting basic electrical issues and support more experienced technicians and engineers in problem-solving.
  • Interest in or exposure to electrical engineering concepts relevant to construction projects is an advantage.
  • Completion of a technical/vocational course in Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to follow instructions and documented procedures.
  • Physical ability to work on construction sites, including standing for long periods and handling tools and materials.
  • Good teamwork, communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a supervised, fast-paced environment.
