Electrical Inspector

Our Construction Phase Services Group is seeking for anElectrical Inspector to supervise the daily execution of electrical works at construction sites to meet quality and timeliness.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect day-to-day electrical installation works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable codes/standards.
• Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship (e.g., conduits, cable trays, cabling, earthing/grounding, lighting, panels/switchboards, testing labels) meet project requirements before installation and at key milestones.
• Witness and review electrical tests and commissioning activities (e.g., insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, functional tests), and confirm results are recorded and meet acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate inspections and hold points with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines raise and track site issues, RFIs, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) through to closure.
• Monitor HSE compliance related to electrical works (e.g., lockout/tagout, temporary power, safe isolation, permits to work) and immediately escalate unsafe conditions.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation for accuracy and constructability confirm changes are properly approved and captured.
• Maintain site records: daily inspection logs, photo documentation, test reports, punch lists/snags, and progress updates aligned to project schedule and quality plan.
• Support handover by verifying completion of punch lists, O&M manuals, warranties, and training requirements, and ensuring electrical systems are ready for client acceptance.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• At least 5 years in a relevant field with a passion for electrical infrastructure
