Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Grid Engineer to provide technical expertise on hydropower generation interconnection and transmission systems. The role will support the integration of hydropower generation into the electricity grid.

Job Responsibilities

Assess grid interconnection requirements for hydropower projects.
Develop and review generation interconnection concepts.
Assess transmission requirements and connection configurations.
Coordinate with utilities, grid operators, and relevant authorities.
Support electrical system studies and grid connection assessments.
Evaluate transmission routes, substations, and associated infrastructure requirements.
Review electrical design concepts and technical specifications.
Identify grid-related constraints and technical risks.
Provide electrical inputs to feasibility studies and project development decisions.
Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation.

Job Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in generation interconnection and transmission.
Experience with grid connection of power-generation projects; hydropower experience is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of transmission systems, substations, and grid requirements.
Experience coordinating with utilities or transmission system operators.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong analytical, engineering, and communication skills.
