Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time 2AM to 11AM

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will prepare accurate and competitive estimates for residential and commercial electrical projects throughout Hawaii. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret construction documents, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform complete quantity takeoffs for electrical systems.
• Prepare accurate material, labor, and equipment cost estimates.
• Perform labor estimating based on project scope and productivity.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare bid proposals and tender submissions.
• Identify value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams during estimating.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.
• Attend pre-bid meetings when required.
• Assist with budgeting and project cost forecasting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical estimating experience.
• Experience estimating residential and commercial electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods and codes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or contractors.
• Hawaii construction experience.
• Government and public works project experience.
• Design-build estimating experience.
• Knowledge of Hawaiian Electric (HECO) standards.
