Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Muñoz. The Electrical Engineer will design and develop electrical systems for solar power projects, including preparing layouts, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications. Day-to-day tasks include performing load calculations, sizing equipment, reviewing power distribution schemes, and coordinating with project managers, technicians, and contractors. The role involves ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and client requirements, as well as supporting installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of power systems. The Electrical Engineer will also contribute to project documentation, cost estimates, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to practical project work.
  • Proficiency in Electrical Design, including system layout, equipment selection, and preparation of engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Experience with Power Distribution, including panelboard scheduling, feeder sizing, and protection coordination.
  • Knowledge of Power Systems, including grid-tied and solar power applications, system stability, and fault analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; professional licensure or eligibility is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards, such as IEC, IEEE, or local regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to use engineering and CAD software tools for design, modeling, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Muñoz.
  • Experience in solar or renewable energy projects is preferred but not required.
