Electrical Engineer I – Power System Studies
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Night Shift (PH Time)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical Engineer I – Power System Studies with a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and power systems analysis. This role supports the design, analysis, and optimization of medium voltage and high voltage electrical systems for renewable energy projects.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of power system studies, electrical design principles, and engineering analysis, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. This role also supports proposal development, technical documentation, and ensures compliance with applicable industry standards.
The successful candidate demonstrates strong analytical ability, technical curiosity, and the capability to work in a structured, deadline-driven engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support design, analysis, and optimization of medium and high voltage electrical systems
• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, and related analyses
• Develop and review electrical designs to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project execution
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and engineering deliverables
• Support proposal development through technical input and system study data
• Analyze system performance data and provide engineering recommendations
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, NESC, NEC, and other applicable standards
• Participate in internal and external technical coordination discussions
• Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Engineering (required)
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems, or related field (internship or academic project experience in power systems is a plus)
• Familiarity with power system study software (ETAP, CYME, PSCAD, SKM, or similar) is a plus
• Basic understanding of electrical codes and standards (IEEE, NEC, NESC)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience in renewable energy, distribution, or substation projects is a plus
