The
Engineering Utilities Planner is responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of utilities operations and maintenance within the Plant Engineering Department (PED).
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Management:
- Planning and executing regular maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Using data and monitoring tools to predict equipment failures before they occur and schedule maintenance accordingly.
- Repairing equipment and systems after failures to restore them to operational condition.
Equipment And Systems Management
- Installation and Commissioning: Overseeing the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems to ensure they meet operational requirements.
- Upgrades and Modifications: Implementing improvements and modifications to existing equipment to enhance performance or adapt to new production requirements.
- Calibration: Regularly calibrating instruments and equipment to ensure accurate operation.
Safety And Compliance
- Safety Standards: Ensuring that all plant operations comply with safety regulations and standards to protect workers and the environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply!
- Licensed Electrical Engineer
- Any relevant certifications in electrical maintenance or safety (e.g., OSHA 10 Hour) are an advantage.
- Training and Experience in the following:
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
- Human Machine Interface (HMI)
- Process Control and Instrumentation
