Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from planning and design through installation, testing, and commissioning
- Develop, review, and update electrical designs, layouts, schematics, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare project scopes, timelines, technical specifications, and cost estimates for electrical works
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers to ensure project deliverables are met on schedule and within budget
- Ensure all electrical designs, installations, and projects comply with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical oversight during equipment installation, upgrades, and plant expansions
- Support automation, control systems, and process improvement initiatives related to electrical systems
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical system issues with a focus on long-term solutions
Qualifications
- Proficiency in electrical design and electrical engineering, with a solid understanding of electricity fundamentals
- Experience in power distribution and power systems within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Ability to manage and support electrical projects, including coordination with contractors and suppliers
- Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills for electrical equipment
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Registered / Licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred
- Experience in food processing or manufacturing plants is an advantage
