Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from planning and design through installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Develop, review, and update electrical designs, layouts, schematics, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD
  • Prepare project scopes, timelines, technical specifications, and cost estimates for electrical works
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers to ensure project deliverables are met on schedule and within budget
  • Ensure all electrical designs, installations, and projects comply with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical oversight during equipment installation, upgrades, and plant expansions
  • Support automation, control systems, and process improvement initiatives related to electrical systems
  • Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical system issues with a focus on long-term solutions

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in electrical design and electrical engineering, with a solid understanding of electricity fundamentals
  • Experience in power distribution and power systems within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage and support electrical projects, including coordination with contractors and suppliers
  • Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills for electrical equipment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Registered / Licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred
  • Experience in food processing or manufacturing plants is an advantage
