Work Arrangement:Site-Based (Onshore / Mainland)

Project Type: Renewable Energy (Wind; Solar & Wind experience preferred)

Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer Associate to support the execution of a wind power project. This is a site-based role, focused on transmission line and onshore electrical works for renewable energy projects. The role will provide hands-on engineering and site support throughout construction and project execution, ideally for candidates with solid experience in wind and/or solar power developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide site-based electrical engineering support for transmission lines, substations, and onshore electrical systems.
  • Assist in the review and implementation of electrical designs, drawings, and technical documents in line with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth execution of site activities.
  • Support electrical installation, testing, and commissioning works on-site.
  • Monitor electrical works to ensure compliance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Prepare site reports, progress updates, and required technical documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in renewable energy or power infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in transmission line and onshore/mainland electrical works.
  • Solar and/or Wind project experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
