We are seeking an
Electrical Drafter to support the delivery of engineering design solutions for major water and wastewater projects, working within the Power Infrastructure team across the APAC region.
As a CAD Drafter, you will
- Interpret and implement electrical design information for water/power/energy infrastructure projects.
- Develop and coordinate Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Electrical Equipment Layout Drawings.
- Produce high-quality electrical design documentation using AutoCAD/Microstation.
- Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary design teams to achieve project objectives, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Contribute to successful project delivery by meeting deadlines and client expectations.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support collaboration across globally integrated teams.
Here's what you'll need
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation & Autodesk Revit
- Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Experience preparing and maintaining engineering drawings in compliance with applicable client, project, and industry drafting standards.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards, Water Corporation drafting requirements, and BIM/CAD best practices is an advantage
