ELECTRICAL DRAFTER
SHIFT: 08:00–17:00 Israel time, Sunday to Thursday, unless otherwise agreed
TYPE: FULL TIME, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
Scope of Work
The required work includes preparing, editing, and completing electrical and control drawings based on the information and standards that will be provided by us.
Materials Provided by Us
- Partial handwritten electrical/control sketches.
- Drawing frame and page format.
- Several existing drawings to be used as references and for copying components.
- The provided reference drawings shall define the required drawing standard, including symbols, layout, layers, component representation, and general drafting conventions.
Required Services:
1. Blocks and Component Library
- Create AutoCAD Electrical blocks with attributes.
- Define components with multiple properties.
- Each component may include approximately 5–10 properties, according to the project requirements.
- Ensure that the blocks are suitable for repeated use in the project.
2. Electrical Schematic Drawings
- Inserting components in the appropriate layers.
- Connecting components according to the provided sketches and project logic.
- Creating and maintaining cross-references and links between pages.
- Updating the title block and page title for each drawing sheet.
- Ensuring consistency with the provided reference drawings and company standards.
3. Panel Layout and Cabinet Front Drawing:
- Use of dynamic blocks where applicable.
- Placement and alignment of components inside the panel layout.
- Synchronization of component numbers between schematic drawings, panel drawings, and the BOM.
- Adding relevant dimensions.
- Ensuring that component locations and identifiers are clear and consistent.
4. Reports and Documentation
Generate the following automatically from the AutoCAD Electrical project:
- Bill of Materials .
- Table of Contents .
- Component lists and related project reports, where applicable.
Required Deliverable:
- Complete AutoCAD Electrical 2026 project folder.
- Folder containing all project blocks and components.
- Final PDF drawing set.
- PDF output shall be used to verify the correctness of page links, cross-references, title blocks, and drawing consistency.
- All source files required to open, edit, and continue the project without missing references, blocks, or libraries.
General Requirements
- All drawings shall follow the standards shown in the reference drawings provided by us.
- The contractor is responsible for maintaining consistent layers, symbols, attributes, component tags, wire numbering, and page formatting.
- Any unclear information in the handwritten sketches shall be raised for clarification before implementation.
- The final project must be clean, organized, and ready for future editing in AutoCAD Electrical 2026.
Commercial Terms
- The contractor shall be available during regular working hours: 08:00–17:00 Israel time, Sunday to Thursday, unless otherwise agreed.
- Pricing shall be based on unit rates, as follows:
- Price per schematic drawing.
- Price per 50 BOM lines, or another quantity that will be calculated proportionally, panel/cabinet layout drawing.
- Any additional work outside the agreed scope shall be discussed and approved in advance.
- Corrections required due to contractor errors or non-compliance with the provided standards shall be included in the agreed price.
- Changes resulting from updated input, design changes, or new requirements shall be priced separately, subject to prior approval.
Home Office Requirements:
- Internet Connection: Must have at least 100 mbps stable internet connection, preferably wired connection or satellite connectivity with Starlink. We do not accept plug-in, wi-fi only, pocket wi-fi, or any unstable internet connectivity.
- Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a reliable and good working computer/laptop suitable for remote work requirements.
- Headset: The contractor must have a good noise-cancelling headset suitable for work and client calls.
- Dedicated Home Office: Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office/workspace free from noise, distractions, and interruptions during working hours.
- Web Cam: Required for meetings, interviews, and client communications.
- Monitoring Tools: Must be comfortable working with Time Doctor and/or Screenshot Monitor as required by the client.
