POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Designer to create accurate electrical models using Revit and BIM software for building and infrastructure projects. The role involves close collaboration with engineers and designers to ensure proper integration of electrical systems. Ideal candidates should have strong attention to detail and experience in BIM design.

This role will be part of our Global Design Services team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create accurate and detailed electrical models using BIM software for building and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure proper integration of electrical systems into overall project models.
• Ensure all BIM models comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate model exchanges between various project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Review, refine, and optimize electrical designs in BIM for accuracy, efficiency, and constructability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM-related processes and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant BIM experience (required).
• Proficient in using Revit for actual project delivery.
• Working understanding of local and international codes and standards, with experience in the consulting industry performing MEP design.
• Experience in mechanical design areas such as HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and process works is an advantage.
