Electrical Design Engineer

We're looking for a technically skilled professional to support electrical design, power system studies, and engineering solutions for project-specific power requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop analyses.
• Prepare electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, layouts, and detailed engineering documentation using AutoCAD.
• Develop project design packages and technical documentation to support sales proposals and project execution.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, and local standards.
• Design and specify electrical power packages and specialist electrical equipment based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams throughout the project life cycle.
• Coordinate with clients technical teams and conduct site visits when required.
• Provide engineering support to operational projects while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of electrical design experience in the electrical power systems industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Expertise in ETAP or other electrical design and power system analysis software, such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory or EasyPower.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power system studies, engineering design, and technical documentation.
• Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of another language is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and attend client meetings as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive monthly salary of PHP 70,000–80,000.
