About the Role

Our client is seeking an E-Learning Designer to support the development of engaging, interactive online learning experiences using Articulate Storyline.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can transform training content, learning objectives, and source materials into polished digital courses that are clear, engaging, and intuitive for learners. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop and refine e-learning content while maintaining consistency across the company's training programs.

The position is expected to begin on a part-time, contract basis, with the potential to expand into a longer-term or permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, interactive e-learning courses using Articulate Storyline.
• Transform training content, learning objectives, scripts, and source materials into effective digital learning experiences.
• Build interactive course elements, scenarios, assessments, knowledge checks, and other learner activities.
• Apply instructional design principles to organize content and create intuitive learning experiences.
• Develop visually polished course layouts that maintain consistency with established brand and training standards.
• Incorporate graphics, audio, video, animation, and other multimedia elements into e-learning experiences when appropriate.
• Create and refine course navigation, interactions, and learner pathways within Storyline.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and translate technical or complex information into accessible training content.
• Review and revise courses based on stakeholder feedback.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure courses function correctly and provide a consistent learner experience.
• Troubleshoot Storyline functionality, interactions, formatting, and publishing issues.
• Maintain organized project files, reusable assets, templates, and course materials.
• Manage multiple course development tasks and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to improve course design, learner engagement, and the overall e-learning development process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in e-learning design, instructional design, digital learning development, or a closely related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline, including building complete interactive e-learning courses.
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating professionally developed e-learning experiences.
• Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Experience creating interactive learning elements such as scenarios, assessments, quizzes, knowledge checks, and branching activities.
• Ability to transform source materials and learning objectives into clear, engaging digital training experiences.
• Strong visual design skills with an understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, and consistency within digital learning environments.
• Experience incorporating multimedia elements into online courses.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate learning materials.
• Ability to independently manage assigned projects and deliverables in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to receive feedback and efficiently translate it into course revisions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Bonus Experience

• Experience with additional Articulate 360 tools, including Rise 360.
• Experience developing corporate, compliance, professional development, or certification training.
• Experience working with subject matter experts to translate complex material into learner-friendly content.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and publishing standards such as SCORM or xAPI.
• Experience creating reusable e-learning templates, interaction libraries, or design systems.
• Experience with graphic design, video editing, audio editing, or other multimedia production tools.
• Experience working within a fast-growing training, education technology, or online learning organization.
