Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support sales teams with quotation creation and management, preparing bids, estimations, and commercial offers based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and sustainable margins. Each day, you will contribute to effective collaboration across ABB units and customers within the Asia-Pacific region, while operating in a dynamic, multicultural environment. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting, analysing, and consolidating data required to prepare proposals, including technical, commercial, and analytical elements using digital tools.

This role is contributing to the Electrification - Smart Power and Smart Buildings divisions in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation using Salesforce, Conga, Power BI, and other related tools.
Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs using established quotation tools.
Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.
Leveraging your interpersonal skills and high levels of verbal and written communication to build and develop stakeholder relationships both within the sales support and the sales teams we serve across the Asia Pacific region.

Qualifications for the role
You are proactive and take ownership of your tasks, performance, and development with the ability to work individually without constant guidance and close supervision.
Ability to demonstrate your experience/skillset in stakeholder relationship management and ability to perform and prioritise in a fast paced environment.
A background in quotations, sales, and/or electrical or automation engineering demonstrated through either work experience or through study.
You are passionate about customer service, process improvement, and electrical engineering and/or automation.
Recent graduate with diploma or degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or 2 years proven experience of working in sales, customer service, and/orElectrical or Automation Engineeringindustry.
Good IT/computer skills and experience with Power BI and data analytics is a plus.
Ability to read Single Line Diagram and technical specifications is an advantage.
You are at ease communicating in English, other languages such as Japanese or Korean is a nice to have
