EHS Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs that ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. The role also includes overseeing workplace clinic management and employee occupational health programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment

As the EHS Engineer you will:

• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses recommend corrective actions.
• Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees.
• Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental impact activities.
• Maintain EHS documentation, reports, permits, and compliance records.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system implementation and audits.
• Work with contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare monthly EHS performance reports and KPI tracking.

Clinic Management

• Manage and supervise the company clinic operations and ensure readiness of medical facilities.
• Coordinate with company nurses, doctors, and external medical providers.
• Monitor employee health records, medical examinations, and occupational health programs.
• Ensure availability of first aid supplies, medicines, and emergency medical equipment.
• Support health awareness campaigns, wellness initiatives, and vaccination programs.
• Handle medical emergency response coordination within the workplace.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and clinic-related legal requirements.

Who are we looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) administration
• BOSH Certified and/or accredited Safety Practitioner
• Experience in database management, records maintenance, and documentation control
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) is an advantage
• Preferably with background working in manufacturing, production, power generation, or construction environment
