Opportunities and Responsibilities
- Engage in multidisciplinary training in the various processes of textbook publication.
- Learn about the basics of developmental, substantive, and mechanical editing.
- Exposure to academic and textbook publishing standards (e.g., style guides, citations, formatting).
- Assist in the overall development of educational resource materials.
- Engage in planning and curation of new educational tools in R&D.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in the fields related to English, Education, and Research. This include:
- Bachelor of Arts in English, Literature or Creative Writing or other related fields;
- Bachelor of Arts in Philippine Studies, Filipino, or other related fields;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Google Worksuite (Sheet and Docs) is expected; familiarity with digital tools or other editing tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in Canva is a plus but not required.
- Must have their own computer device (laptop, tablet, etc).
