Role Description The Editor in Chief and Copy Writer is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and maintaining the brand voice across all written content. Daily tasks include planning and overseeing editorial calendars, drafting and refining articles, website copy, newsletters, social media posts, and marketing materials aligned with Wellness Of Joy's mission. The role involves editing and proofreading content produced by internal and external contributors, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to editorial guidelines. The Editor in Chief and Copy Writer will collaborate with founders and subject matter experts to translate wellness concepts into accessible, engaging content while managing workflows, deadlines, and content quality. This role also includes optimizing content for digital platforms, maintaining style guides, and contributing to content strategy to grow audience engagement and community impact.
Qualifications
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to craft clear, engaging, and mission-aligned content for diverse digital and print formats.
- Proficiency in grammar and editorial judgment, with experience setting and enforcing style and tone guidelines.
- Expertise in text editing and proofreading to ensure accuracy, coherence, and consistency across all publications.
