Role:Creating high-converting, direct response video ads to help Elavatehit our Meta new customer acquisition targets.
You&aposll be the creative engine behind our video advertising, taking scripts and creative briefs from our strategists and turning them into scroll-stopping, conversion-focused video content.

Core Job Responsibilities
- Edit high-converting direct response video adsprimarily for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising campaigns
- Transform raw UGC footage and B-rollinto compelling 2-5 minutevideo ads that drive conversions
- Create multiple variationsof winning video concepts by editing different hooks, bodies, and CTAs from the same raw footage
- Execute rapid iteration cycles- producing 10+ video variations per week, of winning concepts,to feed our testing pipeline
- Follow proven direct response editing frameworksthat have generated millions in revenue for D2C brands
- Collaborate with creative strategiststo bring written scripts and creative briefs to life through visual storytelling
- Maintain brand consistencywhile optimizing for performance metrics (CTR, CPM, CPA)
- Work with AI voiceovers, stock footage, and brand assetsto create complete ad experiences

1. VSL (Video Sales Letter) Content
- Long-form video sales letters (3 to 10minutes)
- Multi-part storytelling with strong conversion focus
2. UGC-Style Creator Ads
- Talking head testimonials with product B-roll integration
- Before/after transformation stories

- Reaction videos to authority figures/studies
3. AI-Generated Content
- Creating visual assets using Midjourney prompts
- Generating video content with Veo and similar AI tools
- Combining AI-generated elements with live footage
- Optimizing AI prompts for brand-consistent visuals

- Doctor/dermatologist testimonials and reactions
- Educational content with medical backing
- Anti-establishment/'big pharma' messaging
Technical Requirements

- Edit multiple hook variations (3-5 per video) for A/B testing
- Understand the psychology of scroll-stopping openings
- Create pattern interrupts and curiosity gaps
Pacing & Retention
- Fast-paced editing to maintain attention throughout
- Strategic use of jump cuts, zoom-ins, and visual variety
- Understanding of attention spans and drop-off points
CTA Integration
- Seamless integration of call-to-action messaging
- Creating urgency through visual and audio cues
- Product showcase timing for maximum impact
Performance Optimization
- Edit for different audience segments (menopause, anti-aging, joints)
- Understand which visual elements drive conversions
- Optimize for different funnel stages (TOF, MOF, BOF)
- Analyze Facebook Ads Manager datato identify performance patterns
- Suggest creative improvementsbased on CTR, CPM, CPA, and engagement metrics
- Data-driven iteration- using ad performance data to guide editing decisions

Qualifications
Required Experience
- 2+ yearsediting direct response video ads for high-spending D2C e-commerce brands
- Proven track recordworking with health/supplement/wellness brands preferred
- Meta advertising experience- understanding what performs on Facebook/Instagram
- Facebook Ads Manager proficiency- comfortable reviewing campaign data and suggesting creative optimizations
- High-volume editing experience
- VSL editing experience- creating longer-form video content (3-10 minutes)
- Portfolio demonstratingdirect response video editing skills with performance metrics
