About the Role

A Global Retail Electronics Company are hiring for a Digital & eCommerce Specialist / Senior Specialist to join a regional APAC team.

This role focuses on growing indirect ecommerce channels across marketplaces such as Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, TikTok Shop and other online retail partners in APAC. It is NOT a backend ecommerce operations role. You will NOT be managing listings or running pricing/promotional campaigns.

Instead, you will be working with distributors, local market teams and internal stakeholders to drive marketplace growth, campaign execution and commercial performance across multiple APAC markets.

This is a good opportunity for someone who has indirect marketplace experience and is ready to step into a more regional, strategic and stakeholder-facing role.

Responsibilities

  • Drive marketplace growth across indirect ecommerce channels in APAC.
  • Work closely with distributors and local market teams to align and execute ecommerce plans.
  • Support go-to-market plans for new product launches, campaigns and key sales moments.
  • Analyse marketplace performance, sales trends and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to improve campaign performance, traffic, conversion and sales.
  • Monitor ecommerce trends, competitor activities and new marketplace formats such as social commerce and livestreaming.
  • Partner with internal teams across marketing, social media, digital, creative and direct ecommerce.
  • Guide external partners and distributors on marketplace best practices and campaign direction.
  • Track timelines, follow up on execution and ensure key initiatives are moving forward.
  • Prepare performance updates, insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, marketplace management or commercial growth.
  • Strong understanding of how indirect marketplace channels work, including campaigns, traffic, conversion and sales performance.
  • Comfortable working with external partners, distributors or marketplace teams.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to connect ecommerce activity to business growth.
  • Good analytical skills and able to turn data into clear recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, decisive and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced regional environment with multiple markets and priorities.
  • Flexible mindset and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

Good to Have

  • Experience in consumer electronics, FMCG, beauty, retail, lifestyle, appliances or other consumer-facing industries. (Open to ecommerce agency profiles)
  • Exposure to regional APAC markets.
  • Experience working with distributors or indirect sales channels.
  • Understanding of both marketplace ecommerce and direct-to-consumer ecommerce.
  • Exposure to social commerce, livestreaming, influencer commerce or digital campaign planning.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across marketing, digital, commercial and creative.
  • Interest in ecommerce trends, consumer behaviour and digital innovation.
