Job Details:

We are looking for an Ecommerce Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day running, maintenance, and improvement of our ecommerce website.

This is a broad ecommerce role covering website content, product data, platform administration, issue investigation, and coordination of product loading workflows. It would suit someone who has worked in an ecommerce, digital operations, website administration, or product data role and is comfortable working across both content and operational tasks.

This is not a web developer role, but some basic understanding of HTML and CSS will be useful. The right person should be confident making small content or formatting edits where needed, while also being comfortable reviewing product data, investigating website issues, and coordinating work across internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Website content and CMS updates

  • Build, update, and maintain website content using ecommerce CMS tools.
  • Create and edit content blocks, pages, banners, and other website content where required.
  • Clean up or improve content created by others to ensure it is accurate, consistent, and well presented.
  • Make small HTML and CSS edits where needed to support content formatting.
  • Ensure key website content is refreshed regularly and remains up to date.

Product content and data quality

  • Ensure products have complete, accurate, and up-to-date content on the website.
  • Review product uploads to confirm product information, categorisation, pricing, and related data is correct.
  • Identify and help resolve missing, inconsistent, or incorrect product information.
  • Work with internal teams to maintain product data quality across the ecommerce site.

Product loading workflow coordination

  • Coordinate the workflow of the product loading team.
  • Help ensure product loading work is progressing consistently and in line with business priorities.
  • Review uploads for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product loading processes and reduce errors.

Ecommerce operations and maintenance

  • Investigate website issues such as pricing discrepancies, shipping issues, and product data problems.
  • Support ongoing maintenance of the ecommerce platform.
  • Escalate technical issues when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Mid-level experience in an ecommerce, digital operations, website administration, product data, or similar role.
  • Experience using Magento / Adobe Commerce is desired, but not essential.
  • Comfortable working with CMS pages, content blocks, product data, and website configuration.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS, with the ability to make small edits where required.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing website content and product data.
  • Ability to spot and investigate issues logically across multiple systems or data sources.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to explain website or data issues clearly to non-technical team members.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing day-to-day priorities independently.
