About the Role
The eCommerce Marketing Project Manager owns and drive execution across marketing, sales, and operational initiatives by ensuring all projects, tasks, and commitments are clearly defined, properly tracked, and delivered on time.
This role serves as the execution backbone of the organization, creating visibility, enforcing accountability, and ensuring that work moves forward consistently across internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Ownership: Own execution and follow-through across marketing, sales, and operational workstreams to ensure priorities are delivered on time.
- Accountability & Follow-Up Management: Drive accountability through proactive follow-ups on tasks, deadlines, and commitments.
- Blocker Resolution: Identify blockers early and push for resolution through clear, direct, and structured communication.
- Project Management Systems: Maintain Asana as the single source of truth for all projects, tasks, and timelines.
- Task Planning & Coordination: Ensure all tasks are clearly written, properly assigned, realistically scheduled, and aligned with business priorities.
- Multi-Project Management: Track progress across multiple initiatives simultaneously while enforcing strong execution discipline.
- Reporting & Visibility: Prepare weekly execution summaries highlighting progress, risks, blockers, and priorities.
- CRM & Sales Operations Support: Support CRM workflows in HubSpot by tracking deliverables and dependencies tied to sales initiatives.
- Revenue-Critical Follow-Through: Ensure timely completion of actions that directly impact revenue generation or customer delivery.
- Marketing Operations Coordination: Coordinate execution across marketing, digital, and social initiatives to keep campaigns on track.
- Campaign & Content Management: Track campaigns, content calendars, and deliverables across internal teams, freelancers, and agencies.
- Timeline & Approval Management: Ensure assets, approvals, and deadlines remain aligned and on schedule.
- Risk Identification & Escalation: Flag delays, gaps, or misalignment early and drive timely resolution.
- eCommerce Project Support: Support execution of e-commerce initiatives across Shopify and Amazon.
- Launch & Content Coordination: Coordinate product launches, updates, and content changes across channels.
- Dependency Management: Track cross-functional dependencies and ensure required inputs are delivered on time.
- Process Governance & SOPs: Enforce workflow standards, templates, and usage consistency while maintaining structured SOPs and repeatable processes.
- Operational Cadence: Maintain execution cadence and ensure consistent reporting rhythms across teams.
- AI Tools & Automation: Leverage tools such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini to improve speed, quality, and efficiency of execution.
Competencies and Qualifications
Must-Have
- At least 3–6 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or execution-focused roles
- Strong execution mindset with proven ability to drive follow-through and accountability
- Experience managing multiple workstreams across teams or stakeholders
- Knowledge and experience in Amazon/Shopify
- Proficiency with project management tools (Asana strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of marketing, digital, and content workflows
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable applying pressure and following up firmly while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments with ambiguity
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot
- Exposure to e-commerce workflows (Shopify, Amazon) is a plus
- Experience coordinating agencies or freelancers is preferred
- Demonstrated practical use of AI tools to improve productivity
