ECAM Specialist(s) will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, detecting potential security threats, and ensuring that proper escalation procedures are followed to resolve incidents swiftly. This position requires vigilance, technical troubleshooting, and effective communication to ensure the security and safety of client assets and properties.

Duties & Responsibilities
Security Monitoring & Detection:
- Monitor control center systems by analyzing motion-triggered alarms and video feeds to detect suspicious or unusual activities.
- Pay close attention to video footage to identify potential security threats and assess risks.
- Quickly act on any suspicious activities or incidents for immediate resolution.
- Stay alert and focused during assigned shifts to ensure a timely and accurate response to security threats.
- Regularly check and confirm the operational status of all surveillance cameras and related equipment, ensuring reliable and effective surveillance.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with surveillance equipment, escalating problems as needed.
Escalation Management
- Take appropriate actions following client protocols and guidelines, ensuring issues are resolved according to internal and external processes.
- Communicate effectively with relevant authorities, including property owners, security personnel, sales teams, and local police, to address security concerns.
- Receive inbound calls or emails from clients and authorities regarding reported security incidents or events and respond promptly with appropriate actions.
- Generate incident trackers to document actions taken in response to suspicious activities, ensuring a complete record of the event for follow-up and analysis.
- Collaborate with colleagues across local and global teams, building productive relationships and ensuring process alignment in escalations and resolutions.
Continuous Improvement
- Actively contribute to the improvement of security systems, processes, and escalation protocols by providing recommendations based on experience and observations.
- Take initiative to learn new tasks and responsibilities, expanding knowledge in areas such as site monitoring and incident response.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required, including monitoring client sites or assisting in other security-related tasks depending on business needs.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor&aposs/ College Degree.

- Experience in Security/ Armed Forces/ Protective Services, Video Surveillance Monitoring or equivalent is a plus but not required.
- Experience in determining the severity of threats and escalating as necessary.
- Experience in efficiently navigating through various systems and tools.

- Experience in handling difficult or upset customers with professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel, Outlook email, etc.
