We're looking for a full-time performance-driven Video Ad Editor who understands that great creative isn't just beautiful - it converts. This role is responsible for producing high-performing paid social ads across platforms like Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, and other short-form channels.
You will turn raw footage, UGC, testimonials, product demos, and static assets into scroll-stopping ads designed to drive measurable performance (ROAS, CPA, CTR, hook rate, hold rate).
If you care more about hook rate than cinematic transitions, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form performance ads (1060 seconds) for paid social
- Develop multiple creative variations to test hooks, angles, and offers
- Repurpose UGC and organic content into conversion-focused ads
- Add captions, motion graphics, product overlays, and strong CTAs
- Analyze performance data and iterate based on results
- Collaborate with growth, media buying, and creative teams
- Maintain fast turnaround times while preserving quality
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently producing ads that improve CPA and ROAS
- Understanding retention curves and optimizing for thumb-stop
- Turning one concept into 10 testable variations quickly
- Taking feedback from data, not ego
- Moving fast without sacrificing clarity
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years editing paid social ads
- Strong understanding of direct response principles
- Experience editing for vertical formats (9:16)
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar
- Strong captioning and on-screen text skills
- Ability to work quickly and independently
- Strong experience with AI
