Job Overview
The E-Commerce Operations Manager is responsible for driving online channel growth, operational excellence, and seamless customer experience across key e-commerce platforms, with a strong focus on Seller Initiated Sales (SIS) operations. This role leads end-to-end execution of commercial strategies, campaign management, platform operations, and fulfillment coordination, while leveraging data and insights to optimize performance and achieve revenue targets.
Job Responsibilities
A. Platform Commercial Management (Lazada)
- Develop and execute growth strategies for Lazada, aligned with overall business objectives
- Lead commercial planning, including joint business plans, promotional calendars, and marketplace initiatives
- Manage platform relationships, including negotiations with key stakeholders (e.g., account managers)
- Identify opportunities for traffic growth, conversion improvement, and revenue expansion
B. SIS & Platform Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day backend operations across RC e-commerce platforms (Shopee, TikTok, Lazada)
- Ensure accurate and timely SKU setup, product listings, and catalog maintenance
- Manage price uploads, voucher creation, and promotional configurations
- Execute bundling strategies and maintain optimized product assortment
- Ensure platform compliance, operational accuracy, and system hygiene
C. Campaign Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute major e-commerce campaigns (e.g., Mega Campaigns, Flash Sales, Payday Sales)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for campaigns (stock availability, pricing, creatives, etc.)
- Monitor live campaign performance and implement real-time optimizations
D. Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (traffic, conversion, GMV, AOV, etc.)
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to monitor business performance
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to improve sales and operational efficiency
- Leverage data to support forecasting, planning, and decision-making
E. Order Management & Fulfillment Coordination
- Oversee order processing flows to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
- Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams on inventory allocation across channels
- Optimize inventory planning to balance availability, sell-through, and working capital
F. Customer Experience & Consumer Care
- Lead consumer care operations to ensure a high-quality customer experience
- Monitor customer feedback, ratings, and service KPIs
- Implement continuous improvements in customer service processes and issue resolution
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, or digital operations
- Proven experience handling Lazada or similar marketplace platforms
- Strong background in e-commerce operations, including backend systems and campaign execution
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
