Location: Remote
Start Date: Immediate
Job Type: Part-Time (4 hours/day) initially, transitioning to Full-Time (40 hrs/week) based on
performance
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Specialist to analyse customer behaviour, identify conversion barriers, and improve website performance and revenue. The role will focus on using data and testing to understand why customers are not converting and developing measurable solutions across the entire ecommerce journey—from homepage and product pages through to cart and checkout.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Shopify ecommerce, GA4, analytics, heatmaps, A/B testing, and conversion optimisation, with the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations and demonstrate the revenue impact of improvements.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse website performance using tools such as GA4, Shopify analytics, heatmaps and session recordings
- Identify friction points across homepage, collection pages, product pages, cart and checkout
- Review customer behaviour and conversion funnels
- Develop CRO recommendations based on data, not just design preference
- Create and manage A/B tests
- Improve product page layouts, messaging, trust signals, CTAs, navigation and merchandising
- Review mobile vs desktop conversion performance
- Analyse bounce rate, add-to-cart rate, checkout rate and conversion rate
- Identify opportunities for upsells, cross-sells, bundles and onsite personalisation
- Work with designers and developers to implement CRO improvements
- Monitor results after changes and report on revenue/conversion impact
- Continually develop and prioritise a CRO testing roadmap
- Strong e-commerce CRO experience, preferably with Shopify
- Experience with GA4 and Shopify analytics
- Experience using tools such as Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, VWO, Optimizely, Convert or similar
- Strong understanding of A/B testing and statistical significance
- Good UX/UI judgement, particularly for e-commerce
- Ability to interpret data and turn it into clear recommendations
- Experience working with higher-consideration or higher-value e-commerce products would be beneficial
