Job Description

  • Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring all departments are aligned with service standards and operational requirements.
  • Act as the management representative on duty and provide immediate support in resolving operational and guest-related concerns.
  • Ensure smooth guest arrival and departure experiences, including VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest assistance.
  • Handle guest complaints, service recovery, and escalated concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, public areas, and operational areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and service quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage, and other departments for seamless hotel operations.
  • Monitor room status, occupancy, guest feedback, and operational issues requiring immediate action.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, safety procedures, and brand standards.
  • Assist in managing emergency situations, incidents, and crisis response while ensuring guest and employee safety.
  • Support Front Office operations including check-in/check-out processes, room assignments, and guest requests.
  • Monitor service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Review operational reports, incident reports, and shift handover notes for proper follow-through.
  • Assist in coaching and guiding hotel associates to maintain professionalism and service excellence.
  • Support revenue initiatives such as upselling, room upgrades, and guest experience enhancements.
  • Ensure proper communication and coordination between departments during events, group arrivals, and special functions.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to management regarding operational concerns and improvement opportunities.
