Duty Engineer

Seda Vertis North is looking for a Duty Engineer to support the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the hotel's engineering systems and facilities.

The role will monitor and attend to the hotel's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems during the assigned shift. The Duty Engineer will respond to maintenance concerns, conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensure that engineering activities are carried out in accordance with safety and operational standards.

The position will also coordinate with other hotel departments, supervise engineering personnel on duty, maintain accurate shift and maintenance records, and assist in ensuring the continuous and reliable operation of hotel facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering course
• Preferably a licensed Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in hotel engineering, building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar environment
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to supervise engineering personnel and coordinate maintenance activities during the shift
• Familiarity with safety standards, emergency procedures, and building operations
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to respond to operational concerns promptly
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to be assigned at Seda Vertis North, Quezon City
