Duty Engineer

Seda Manila Bay is seeking a skilled and proactive Duty Engineer who is a Licensed Mechanical Engineer to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of the hotel's engineering systems and facilities. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of hotel equipment and facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and engineering-related concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering procedures, and hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support energy efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate with contractors and hotel departments to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer required.
• At least 2 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or facilities operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.
