Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To assist in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the engineering department in support of all other operating departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.
  • Carries out and supervises the regular MEPF equipment (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) Servicing Program according to the established schedule.
  • Assists in ensuring the control, verification, storage and utilization of all fuel deliveries to the premises are carried out as per the established policy and procedures.
  • Assists in preparing weekly work schedules in accordance with workload and priorities in coordination with Senior Duty Engineer.
  • Supervises and carries out special projects.
  • Carries out and completes all maintenance requests on time and pays particular attention to guest related jobs.
  • Prepares orders for spare parts as to maintain the par stock for emergency requirements.
  • Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of the department.
  • Handles guest and associate enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer.
  • At least 1-year relevant experience in hotel /mall / property management / engineering operations.
  • Knowledgeable of complex system of chilled water system, electrical substation, water distribution, and fire protection system.
  • Well communication skill with all levels of the organization and external parties.
  • Able to handle multi-tasks.
