Job Description

Facelove Cosmetics is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer beauty brand built for women over 40, with a strong presence across the US and EU markets.

The Role

We're looking for a DTC E-commerce Recruiter to own end-to-end hiring for the roles that actually move revenue: paid media, creative strategy, retention, Shopify/CRO, and the creative talent behind our ads. You'll work directly with our HR Manager and founders to keep both contractor and full-time pipelines full of strong, vetted candidates.

This is a hands-on recruiting role, not a coordination-only role. You'll source proactively, run structured screens, and bring sharp judgment to who's actually a fit. In DTC, the gap between someone who ran an ad account and someone who sat next to one is enormous, and we need you to be able to tell the difference on a 30-minute call.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across DTC e-commerce functions: paid media buying, growth, creative strategy, retention/email, Shopify and CRO, analytics, and e-commerce ops
  • Recruit high-volume creative contractor roles, including video editors and UGC-style creative talent, running trial-based assessment at scale
  • Write and refine job descriptions that attract the right candidates and filter out the wrong ones
  • Source proactively through LinkedIn Recruiter, OnlineJobs.ph, job boards, competitor mapping, and outbound
  • Screen resumes, portfolios, and ad-performance claims, run initial interviews, and produce structured, comparable candidate assessments for hiring managers
  • Coordinate interview scheduling across time zones with hiring managers and founders
  • Draft offers and manage the process through to signature
  • Maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline in GoHire and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Flag pipeline or spec issues early. If a role's requirements are producing no viable candidates, bring evidence and options rather than continuing to source blindly
  • Spot red flags before they reach final interviews: inflated spend figures, metrics that contradict each other, reused or scraped creative work, agency work presented as in-house, overlapping employment dates

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience with a track record hiring for DTC, e-commerce, or performance-marketing-driven companies
  • Recruitment agency or staffing firm background preferred. We want someone who has carried a req load and a placement target, not someone who has only supported an internal HR function
  • Working fluency in the DTC vocabulary: ROAS, CAC, MER, AOV, LTV, hook rate, creative testing. You don't need to be a marketer, but you can't be bluffed by one
  • Comfortable evaluating creative portfolios (video, static, UGC) alongside more traditional e-commerce and ops backgrounds
  • Strong sourcing skills. You don't post and pray
  • Excellent written communication. You can write both a sharp JD and a warm, human candidate email
  • Ability to work core hours aligned to CET
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-moving environment
  • Experience with hiring or ATS tools such as GoHire and LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus

How You Work

  • You move fast and decide with incomplete information
  • You'd rather be corrected than be wrong for a quarter
  • You are comfortable telling a founder their favourite campaign isn't working
  • You want ownership, not a brief

What we offer

  • Real ownership of the most important function in the business, with a direct line to the founders
  • Remote-first, async-friendly, results-measured
  • A brand with genuine product-market fit and room to scale
