Responsibilities
- Operate assigned EV 6W truck safely and in compliance with company, customer, traffic, and safety requirements.
- Complete delivery trips based on approved dispatch plan, route assignment, and operational instructions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection, including battery level, tires, lights, brakes, tools, documents, and overall unit condition.
- Ensure proper charging compliance and coordinate charging status with the Own Fleet team.
- Assist in loading, unloading, checking, and securing of cargo when required by the operation.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage, loss, or delivery discrepancy.
- Monitor and report vehicle concerns, delays, accidents, incidents, cargo issues, and route challenges immediately.
- Maintain accurate trip documents, delivery receipts, DTR, and other required operational records.
- Follow prescribed working hours, trip cycle process, safety protocols, and customer site rules.
- Support productivity targets, including on-time dispatch, reduced dwell time, proper turnaround, and efficient trip completion.
- Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers, warehouse teams, helpers, checkers, security, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Professional Driver's License with appropriate restriction/code for 6W truck operation. . Experience driving 6-wheeler trucks, preferably in logistics, distribution, FMCG, or delivery operations.
- Familiarity with Metro Manila, South Luzon, and nearby delivery routes is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection, road safety, cargo handling, and delivery documentation.
- Willing to operate electric vehicle trucks and follow EV charging procedures.
- Physically fit and willing to support loading/unloading activities when operationally required.
- Able to work on shifting schedule, extended hours, weekends, holidays, and changing dispatch requirements.
- Must be disciplined, safety-focused, reliable, and customer-oriented.
- No major traffic violation or preventable accident record preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly with dispatch, fleet coordinators, customers, and warehouse personnel.
