Role Overview
The Driver Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading end-to-end driver acquisition operations, ensuring a seamless onboarding journey from application to activation. This role owns KYC operations, onboarding initiatives, offline recruitment events, vendor and BPO management, and continuous improvements to acquisition processes to support business growth while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.

- Lead the end-to-end driver acquisition and onboarding process, ensuring timely activation of qualified drivers.
- Manage KYC verification operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining SLA targets.
- Oversee external BPO partners and agencies responsible for driver acquisition and KYC processing, including performance management, quality, and productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, recruitment partners, and third-party service providers supporting acquisition initiatives.
- Plan and execute offline recruitment campaigns, driver caravans, activation booths, and onboarding events to strengthen driver supply.
- Develop and continuously improve onboarding programs to ensure new drivers are equipped with the necessary knowledge, tools, and operational requirements before going live.
- Monitor acquisition funnel metrics including application volume, KYC turnaround time, activation rate, conversion rate, and cost per activated driver.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance acquisition efficiency and candidate experience.
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Regional teams to support acquisition campaigns and fleet growth initiatives.
- Manage budgets, logistics, and operational requirements for driver acquisition events and vendor engagements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Driver Acquisition team to achieve performance targets and operational excellence.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations, recruitment, driver acquisition, or workforce management, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience managing KYC or onboarding operations and high-volume operational processes.
- Proven experience managing BPO partners, field agencies, or third-party vendors with measurable performance outcomes.
- Experience organizing and executing offline recruitment events, job fairs, driver activations, or community engagement activities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Highly analytical with experience managing operational KPIs and driving process improvements.
- Excellent project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with frequent field engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, ride-hailing, food delivery, or e-commerce operations.
- Familiarity with onboarding systems, KYC verification processes, CRM platforms, and vendor management.
- Experience leading regional or nationwide acquisition campaigns is an advantage.
