DP Project Engineer Technical Report Writing Specialist

We are looking for a DP Project Engineer - Technical Report Writing Specialist to join our engineering team.

This position focuses primarily on technical report writing, engineering documentation and project coordination for Dynamic Positioning (DP), FMEA, DP Trials and vessel assurance projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with DP Engineers and Consultants to understand technical information, test results and field notes, and convert them into clear, accurate and professional technical reports.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Location: Vision Exchange, Jurong East

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compile DP, FMEA, DP Trials and vessel assurance reports.
• Convert engineering field notes, test results and technical information into structured technical reports.
• Review reports for accuracy, consistency, completeness and clarity.
• Coordinate with DP Engineers and Consultants to clarify technical information and obtain missing details.
• Maintain and update report templates and documentation standards.
• Organise and maintain project documentation and technical records.
• Ensure reports and project documents are completed and submitted within required deadlines.
• Support the preparation of technical drawings, test documentation and other project records.
• Assist project teams with documentation during vessel trials or overseas project assignments when required.
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure technical information is properly documented.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
• Experience in technical report writing, engineering documentation or project documentation.
• Strong written English and good attention to detail.
• Able to understand, organise and present technical information clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and technical drawings.
• Experience in DP, FMEA, vessel trials, marine engineering or offshore projects will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with engineering terminology and technical documentation.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to communicate with engineers and project teams to obtain and clarify technical information.
• Willing to occasionally support documentation work during vessel trials or overseas assignments, when required.
