Position Overview
The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company and project standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting the project team by ensuring that all engineering, technical, and administrative documents are properly controlled, updated, and easily accessible. The Document Controller will coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient document flow throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably in wind or renewable energy projects
- Strong background in document management systems, processes, and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management/sharing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software and digital tools
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and document control accuracy
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Experience
- Prior involvement in renewable energy projects (e.g., wind, solar, or similar infrastructure projects)
- Familiarity with engineering documentation, drawings, and project workflows
