What will you do
Document Controller plays a critical role inmanaging project documentation and ensuringcompliance with industry standards. They areresponsible for the effective administration ofproject-related documents, facilitatingcommunication amongst stakeholders, andmaintaining accurate records throughout the projectlifecycle. Document Controllers ensure that alldocumentation is accessible, up-to-date, andcomplies with Aurecon's quality and regulatoryrequirement.
Documentation Management
Establish and maintain document controlprocedures aligned with project requirementsand industry standards.
Receive, review, and distribute projectdocumentation, ensuring all records are filedaccurately and can be easily accessed.
Track and manage the version control ofdocuments to ensure the latest information isavailable to project teams and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain a comprehensivedocument register that logs all incoming andoutgoing project documents.
Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to Aurecon's qualitymanagement systems, including compliancewith relevant policies, procedures, andregulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits of document controlprocesses to identify and implementimprovements.
Facilitate timely responses to requests fordocumentation from clients, stakeholders, andinternal teams.
Communication and Coordination
Liaison with project managers, engineers, andother team members to gather and clarifydocumentation needs
Provide training and guidance to teammembers on document control processes andtools.
Support effective communication across theproject team by ensuring that everyone hasaccess to the necessary documentation fortheir tasks.
Technical Support
Utilise Aurecon's approved contentmanagement systems and collaborationplatforms for document handling and sharing.
Assist in the development and implementationof digital tools and strategies for improveddocument management.
Stay informed about current trends in documentcontrol technologies and methodologies,recommending upgrades as necessary.

Relevant certification or diploma inDocument Control or a related field, orequivalent experience.
Understanding of industry standardsrelated to document control (e.g., ISO9001).
Flexibility to adapt to location-specificdemands and project requirements will beessential.
Relevant experience from a Design and Engineering Consultancy background
