DISTRICT SALES MANAGER (MINDANAO) — Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales
Philcare Pharma Inc. | Philippines (Multiple Locations)Full-Time | Mid-Senior Level | Pharmaceutical / Healthcare
BUILD SOMETHING BIGGER. LEAD FROM THE FRONT.
Philcare Pharma Inc. is a fourteen-year-old fast-growing Philippine specialty pharmaceutical distribution company focused on hospital-based injectable formulations — from critical care and anti-infectives to anesthesia and pain management. We serve tertiary hospitals and key pharmacy chains nationwide, and we are on an aggressive growth trajectory toward ₱1 billion in revenue.
We're not looking for managers who sit behind a desk. We're looking for field-tested leaders who know what it takes to win in the hospital channel — and who want to build a high-performing team from the ground up.
If you've spent years driving formulary wins, coaching medical reps, and earning the trust of physicians and pharmacists in the trenches, this is your opportunity to do it with real ownership, real upside, and real impact.
THE ROLE
As a District Sales Manager, you will lead a team of 4–12 Medical Representatives across assigned hospital territories. You'll be responsible for district sales performance, team development, formulary access strategy, and KOL engagement. You report directly to the Division Manager and work closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and the General Manager.
What you'll do:
→ Own district-level P&L — drive your team to hit and exceed aggregate sales quotas across a portfolio of hospital injectable products (anti-infectives, vasopressors, sedation agents, pain management, oncology support, cardiac care, and wound care)
→ Coach, mentor, and develop Medical Representatives through structured field accompaniment (ride-alongs), performance coaching, and career development planning
→ Lead hospital formulary inclusion and competitive displacement strategies for your territory
→ Build and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospital administrators, and P&T committee members
→ Execute CME programs, institutional selling strategies, and cross-functional initiatives with Medical Affairs and Marketing
→ Identify and develop high-potential team members for promotion — your success is measured not just by sales numbers, but by how many leaders you build
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✓ 3–8+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory, team-lead, or district management role
✓ Strong hospital-channel experience — you know how tertiary hospitals work, how formulary committees decide, and how to navigate complex institutional sales cycles
✓ Track record of consistent quota achievement (individual or team) — ideally ≥100% YTD in your most recent role
✓ Proven ability to coach and develop field sales teams — not just manage them
✓ Therapeutic area experience in any of the following is a strong plus: anti-infectives, critical care / ICU, anesthesia, pain management, oncology, or cardiology
✓ Familiarity with CRM tools, field reporting systems, and data-driven territory management
✓ Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications in sales management, pharmaceutical sciences, or business are a plus
✓ Willing to travel extensively within assigned geographic territory
