Job Overview
They are looking for an experienced Distribution Manager to oversee end-to-end transport planning and delivery operations. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery execution while optimizing logistics performance through effective contract management, 3PL coordination, and transport safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery planning and daily transport operations to ensure efficient and timely distribution.
- Plan, organize, analyze, and control logistics activities to optimize operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transport partners.
- Oversee contract management, including vendor performance monitoring and service level compliance.
Required Qualification / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or delivery operations, with 8 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong experience in delivery planning, transport operations, and distribution management.
- Proven background in contract management and managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
