Distributed Control System Engineer

San Miguel Global Power is seeking qualified DCS Engineers to join the Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Maintenance team at Luzon Power Dynamics Services Inc. - Limay 1. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting process automation, control system configuration, DCS maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Support process automation and control system configuration activities.
• Diagnose and resolve control system issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on DCS and related systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, modifications, and operational data.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize system performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer, preferably with at least 1 to 2 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control Maintenance.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
